2 Days Trip from Fes to the Merzouga Desert
Fes, Midelt, Ziz Valley, Erfoud, Merzouga, Azrou, Fes

Merzouga, Erg Chebbi dunes, desert camp
Camel trekking in Merzouga is the best way to discover the Erg Chebbi dunes. The camel has been a mainstay of desert life for thousands of years, so it is an essential part of your desert experience. When you arrive in Merzouga, we invite you to spend an unforgettable night with us under the stars.
In the late afternoon, you meet your camel guide at the edge of the dunes. Then you ride slowly through the soft sand for about one hour to our desert camp. On the way, we stop on a high dune to watch the sunset, when the sand turns orange, then red and finally purple.
At the camp, you enjoy a delicious traditional dinner, such as a tajine or a Berber couscous. Afterwards, you sit together around the campfire and listen to Berber drum music. Meanwhile, the stars slowly turn the sky into a work of art. Here, you can feel the silence of a world of contemplation, simplicity and generosity.
You spend the night in your private tent with an en-suite bathroom, so you have all the comfort you need in the middle of the dunes. The tents have real beds, warm blankets and electricity.
Early in the morning, you climb a dune to watch the sunrise over the Sahara. Then you ride your camel back to the village and have breakfast. Finally, you can continue your trip or join one of our desert tours from Merzouga.
The “Camel Trekking in Merzouga and Night in a Desert Camp” itinerary is a private tour, so you travel only with your own group, driver and vehicle. In addition, you choose the start date, and we adapt the hotels and the pace to your budget. To book it, send us your request or write to us on WhatsApp, and we will reply within 24 hours. Before you decide, you can also read our reviews on Tripadvisor or see more Sahara desert tours.
